Making and caring for it

The steel is cut from hot-rolled stock, then set on a piece of reclaimed wood left over from our other wood products. Grain, knots, and color differ from board to board, so yours will be its own one-off. Keep it indoors and wipe off dust with a soft, dry cloth. Clean, dry hands are best when touching the steel, because lotion and oils can mark it.
