Airplane Metal Wall Art on Reclaimed Wood, Aviation Decor, Pilot Gift

Airplane metal wall art for the pilot, the plane spotter, or the kid who watches every jet overhead: a flying plane cut from steel and set on reclaimed wood.

Pilots and aviation fans are the obvious recipients, but it also suits a nursery, a boy's room, or anyone who loves to travel. As airplane metal wall art goes, it is compact, so it fits in among other frames.

At a glance

• Size: 5.5 in wide x 5.5 in tall x about 1 in deep (14 x 14 x 2.5 cm)
• Materials: hot-rolled American-made steel and reclaimed wood
• Finish: hand-painted wood behind the steel cutout, as shown
• Hanging: a D-ring on the back
• Made: handmade to order in Montana

A steel cutout of this design sits on a piece of reclaimed wood, and the wood shows through the open areas. We use small end pieces from our other wood products, so expect natural differences in grain, knots, and color.

Care: Keep it indoors, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, and try to touch the steel only with clean, dry hands. Lotion and oils can mark it.

Pairs well with: A natural second piece is Mountain Range Metal Wall Art on Reclaimed Wood. See more at sports and hobby signs.
